The new paper tablet is designed to review documents, take notes, and read. The lightweight device is easily portable. The company is also offering accessories like a stylus and a Type Folio tactile keyboard.

The ReMarkable 2 E-Ink Paper Tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core ARM chipset along with 1GB LPDDR3 SDRAM and 8GB storage. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, and an accessory port. The 10.3-inch monochrome digital paper display comes with a resolution of 1,872 x 1,404 pixels.
The new tablet is partially powered by E-Ink Carta technology. It comes with a multi-point capacitive touch. Additionally, users can switch between left and right-handed modes.

The ReMarkable 2 E-Ink Paper Tablet runs a Linux-based OS. It allows users to sync notes and files between the tablet and the ReMarkable applications. The tablet supports PDF and ePUB documents.
The menu language is English. While the keyboard supports 17 different languages, the handwriting conversion feature (backed by MyScript) supports 33 languages with Latin script.

Price and Availability

The ReMarkable 2 is priced in India at Rs 43,999. This includes the tablet, the Marker Plus stylus, and a 1-year free Connect trial. At Rs 53,799, customers will also get a Type Folio alongside the stylus.
Currently, the new tablet is available for pre-booking at Rs. 1,000 via Amazon. Sales will start on January 19.
The Type Folio keyboard cover and the Marker Plus stylus (which requires no charging or setup) can be purchased separately at Rs 19,499 and Rs 13,599, respectively. Replaceable Marker Tips can also be purchased separately.
