Reliance has launched a new Lyf series smartphone, called the Reliance Lyf F8. The smartphone is available to buy from company’s retail stores across the country. As for specifications, the smartphone packs a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor paired with Adreno 304 GPU. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with resolution of 854×480 pixels and pixel density of 218ppi.
The Lyf F8 houses 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory with expandable support up to 128GB via microSD card. On the camera front, the device sports an 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2000mAh battery, the company claims it to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 160 hours of standby time. The handset runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. Connectivity options which the dual SIM smartphone offers, include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB OTG.
The phone comes with ‘Swift Gesture Control’ feature that lets users launch the camera app, control music player and access other apps directly from the lock screen using gestures. It also comes with flip to mute and double tap to wake features.
