Reliance has silently introduced a new variant of Reliance Jio JioFi 4G hotspot with OLED display. The device is available to buy from offline stores in a few cities across the country.
A Twitter user has shared the images of the JioFi 4G hotspot that provide a closer look at the device as well as its cylindrical packaging in Blue and Red colors. The JioFi 4G hotspot has a rectangular matte finish design with smooth edges. The front side of the device has an OLED display and Jio branding while the rear part says- ‘Designed in India’.
The OLED display shows remaining battery, 4G signal strength and WiFi strength. Apart from the addition of OLED display, the battery of the device has also been bumped up. The new variant packs a 2600mAh battery compared to the 2300mAh battery of the predecessor. The 2600mAh battery of the device is said to offer up to 5 hours of usage time and up to 260 hours of standby time. It can connect up 10 devices and supports microSD card up to 32GB.

The Reliance Jio JioFi 4G Hotspot carries price tag of Rs. 1,999 and is available to buy from offline stores in a few cities across India. Notably, the previous variant of the JioFi 4G Hotspot carries the same price tag of Rs. 1,999 as the new variant. To recall, the predecessor was launched at Rs. 2,899, and received a price slash, dropping its price to Rs. 1,999.
