Xiaomi has launched the first Redmi laptop in the Chinese market. The RedmiBook 14 comes with up to 8th-gen Intel Core i7 processor and an Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics card. The Xiaomi RedmiBook 14 is priced in China at CNY 3,999 (approx Rs 40,300) for the base variant (Intel Core i5 processor, 256GB SSD storage). Whereas the Intel Core i5 processor/ 512GB SSD model costs CNY 4,299 (approx Rs 43,300).
The high-end variant with 8hth-generation Intel Core i7 processor/ 512GB SSD storage comes with a price tag of at CNY 4,999 (approx Rs 50,400).
Registrations for the new laptop will begin in China on June 1. Sales start from June 11. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

The Xiaomi RedmiBook 14 is powered by up to eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processor along with 8GB RAM, up to 512GB SSD (solid-state drive), and an Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics card.
The company has also added a new cooling system with an intake vent area of 2530mm. The new laptop delivers up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. It comes with a DTS audio integration.
The new notebook runs the Windows 10 operating system with an Intelligent Unlock 2.0 feature (take 1.2 seconds to unlock from the standby mode). It also comes preloaded with Microsoft Office Home and Student Edition.

The Xiaomi RedmiBook 14 laptop features a 14-inch ultra-narrow display with HD resolution. It sports a full-size keyboard (with a travel distance of 1.3mm and 19mm wide keys) and a multitouch gesture-supporting touchpad.
The Windows 10-based notebook weighs 1.5kg. It comes with a thickness of 17.95mm.
