The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite sports a 5.5-inch display with HD (720 x 1280pixels) resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 450-nits brightness. Whereas the Redmi 4 features a 5.0-inch display with HD resolution. While the Redmi Y1 Lite is backed by a 3080mAh battery, the Redmi 4A comes with a 3120mAh battery.
Both handsets are powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor along with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The internal storage on both models can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB). While the Redmi Y1 Lite comes with dedicated one micro-SD card slot, the Redmi 4A comes with a hybrid slot.
