The Redmi Pad is priced in India at Rs 14,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage and 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage models cost Rs 17,999 and
Rs 19,999, respectively.
The new tablet comes in Graphite Grey, Mint Green, and Moonlight Silver color options. It will be available for purchase from October 5 via Mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Homes, and retail partners.

The new tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor and up to 6GB RAM. The up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage can be further expanded (up to 1TB) via a microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, the Redmi Pad sports an 8-megapixel rear camera that supports recording at 1080p resolution. For selfies and video calling, it features an 8-megapixel front camera with a 105-degree field-of-view.
The new tablet is backed by a large 8,000mAh battery that comes with 18W fast charging support. It comes with a 22.5W charger in the box.

The Redmi Pad runs Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top. The company is promising two Android version updates and three years of security updates.
The new tablet comes features quad speakers with Dolby ATMOS support. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.3, and a USB Type-C port.
The Redmi Pad sports a 10.61-inch (2,000 x 1,200 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 400 nits of peak brightness. It measures 250.5 x 158.1 x 7.1mm and weighs 465g.
