The Redmi K30 Pro is expected to be launched on March 24. It is tipped to be priced around CNY 3,299 (approx Rs 32,900).
Additionally, the company is tipped to launch a Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition at the same event.
The Redmi K30 is priced in China at a starting price of CNY 1,599 (approx Rs 16,100) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant.
On the other hand, the Redmi K30 5G was launched with a starting price of CNY 1,999 (approx Rs 20,100) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage model.

As per recent reports, the upcoming handset will be powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with an X55 5G modem (to enable 5G support).
For photography, the Redmi K30 Pro is tipped to sport a quad rear camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor (1/1.7-inch). It will use 4-in-1 pixel binning to create a larger 1.6-micron pixel to offer sharper images.
The vertically-aligned camera module (surrounded by a ring) will come with dual OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) technology. Both the 64MP primary camera and the telephoto lens will be optically stabilized.
Camera features will include 3X optical zoom output and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation). During video capture, both OIS and EIS will work in tandem to deliver stable footage.
Fro selfies and video calling, the Pro model is expected to sport a pop-up front camera that lights up. Users can choose from five colours (blue, red, green, etc).
The new smartphone is likely to run the Android 10 operating system with a custom MIUI 11 skin on top. The 4,700mAh battery is said to come with 33W fast charging support.
The Redmi K30 Pro is said to feature an HDR10+ display with a peak brightness of 1200 nits, 5000000:1 contrast ratio, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.
The Super AMOLED display will also come with TUV Rheinland certification (protects against blue light exposure) and support for native DC Dimming.
Additionally, the Redmi K30 Pro is expected to come with 8GB RAM, gradient finish rear panel, 3.5mm headphone jack, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The new handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging support.
The internal storage can be further expanded via a hybrid microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
The Redmi K30 runs the Android 10 operating system with MIUI 11 on top. It supports Hi-Res Audio. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the side.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.67-inch display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 91 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Camera
In terms of optics, the Redmi K30 sports an AI-backed quad-camera setup on the back. It is placed inside an intriguing circular-shaped ring surrounding (top-center). Camera features include Mimoji, Super Night Scene Mode, RAW format support.
The camera module uses a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor (f/1.89 aperture, 1/1.7-inch, 6P lens), a 2MP macro lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP wide-angle sensor (120 degrees).
For selfies and video calling, the new handset sports a dual-camera setup (placed in display holes, top right edge, 4.38mm cutout). It combines a 20MP primary sensor with a 2MP depth sensor.

The 5G model is powered by a 7nm Snapdragon 765G processor. It comes with dual-band 4G/5G support (SA/NSA) and 5G Multilink feature.
The 5G Smart feature adjusts the network to ensure lower power management without compromising on performance.
The Redmi K30 5G is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The quad rear camera setup includes a 5MP macro camera (instead of a 2MP sensor). Other specs and features are the same as the 4G version.
