The Xiaomi Redmi K30 is tipped to come in two variants – with 4G support and 5G support.
The Redmi K30 series will be introduced in China on December 10th. As of now, there is no information about its price.
The company is also expected to launch RedmiBook 13 at the same event.

As per recent teasers and rumors, the upcoming handset will feature dual front cameras (punch-hole display design). The display holes are placed on the top-right edge.
The 6.67-inch Full HD+ display itself is tipped to support a 120Hz refresh rate. Users will be able to choose between two presets – 60Hz and 120Hz.
The upcoming handset will sport minimalist finish on the rear panel. A fingerprint scanner will be placed on the side.
Additionally, the Redmi K30 is said to come with support for 5G standalone and non-standalone (SA/NSA) sub-6Hz networks. Qualcomm is expected to bring 5G chips for mid-range devices next year.
The upcoming smartphone will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 765 processor along with 6GB/ 8GB/ 12GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB storage (expandable up to 512GB).
The smartphone series is likely to run the Android 10 operating system with the latest MIUI 11 version. It will be backed by a 4,400mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
Cameras
In terms of optics, the Redmi K30 has also said to sport a quad-camera setup with a 60MP Sony IMX686 sensor and dual-LED flash. The camera module is surrounded by a circular ring (with glossy finish).
The camera module will also include a 2cm macro lens and a 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens.
For selfies and video calling, the upcoming handset is tipped to include a 20MP artificial intelligence (AI) powered dual camera setup on the front.
The camera features will include a Super Night View feature (reduces noise via AI algorithms), a Movie Mode, and 12 filter options.
