The new Redmi A2+ is priced at Rs 8,499 for the 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model comes at Rs 7,999. The new handset will be available via Amazon, MI.com, and Xiaomi retail partners.

The new smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 processor along with up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. It comes with memory fusion technology that supports up to 3GB RAM expandable RAM (borrowed from internal storage).
In terms of optics, the Redmi A2+ sports an AI-backed dual rear camera setup with an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a QVGA camera. For selfies and video calling, it features a 5-megapixel front camera.
The new handset is backed by a 5,000mAh battery. It is said to offer up to 32 days of standby mode and 32 hours of call time on a single charge.

The Redmi A2+ runs Android 13 operating system. The dual SIM smartphone comes with a 3.5mm audio jack as a connectivity option.
The new smartphone sports a 6.52-inch LCD display with HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) resolution and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. It comes in Classic Black, Sea Green, and Aqua Blue colour options.
