The Redmi 9i is priced at Rs 8,299 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage model comes at Rs 9,299.
The new smartphone comes in Midnight Black, Sea Blue, and Nature Green color options. Sales will start on September 18 via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores.

The Redmi 9i is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB/ 128GB storage can be expanded via a micro SD card (up to 512GB).
For photos and videos, the handset features a 13-megapixel rear camera (f/2.2 aperture) and a 5-megapixel front camera (housed in a display notch).
The Redmi 9i is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging.

The Redmi 9i runs the Android 10 operating system with MIUI 12 on top. Connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.53-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 1,500:1 contrast ratio, and 270 nits peak brightness.
In terms of dimensions, the Redmi 9i measures 164.9 x 77.07 x 9mm and weighs 194 grams. Sensors on the device include a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyro sensor, and e-compass.
