The Redmi 9A is priced in India at Rs 6,799 for the 2GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant. The 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model costs Rs 7,499.
Originally, the Redmi 9A was launched in China at CNY 499 (approx Rs 5,300) and CNY 599 (approx Rs 6,400) for the 2GB RAM/ 32GB storage and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variants, respectively.
Now, the company has launched a new 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage model. It is now available in India at CNY 799 (approx Rs 8,600).
The new variant comes in also comes in the same Clear Sky Blue, Sand Black, and Lake Green color options. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

The Redmi 9A is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor and up to 5GB RAM.
In terms of optics, the Redmi 9A sports a 13MP rear camera (f/2.2 aperture) and a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture. It supports the AI face unlock feature.
The Redmi 9A is backed by a large 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging. The internal storage is expandable via a microSD card (up to 512GB).

The new handset comes in Midnight Black, Nature Green, and Sea Blue color options. It measures 164.9 x 77.07 x 9mm and weighs 194 grams.
