The Redmi 12C is priced in India at Rs 8,999 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model comes at Rs 10,999.
The new smartphone comes in Matte Black, Mint Green, Royal Blue, and Lavender Purple color options. Sales will start across the country on April 6.

The Redmi 12C is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor along with up to 6GB RAM and an additional 5GB Virtual RAM.
The budget smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging. The 128GB storage can be further expanded (up to 1TB) via a micro SD card.
For photos and videos, the Redmi 12C sports a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, it features a 5MP selfie camera.

The Redmi 12 C runs Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro-USB port.
The dual-SIM smartphone comes with an IP52 rating for water resistance. In terms of dimensions, it measures 168.76 x 76.41 x 8.77mm and weighs 192 grams.
The 6.71-inch HD+ LCD display comes with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels, a 60Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop-shaped notch.
Sensors on the device include an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, and an accelerometer. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
