Realme is all set to launch new mid-range devices in the smartphone market. The Realme X and the Realme X Lite (Realme 3 Pro) will be officially launched in China on May 15. Registrations will start in the country on May 5 (via major e-commerce portals). As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.
As per recent reports, the Realme X will be priced at CNY 1,599 (approx Rs 16,500) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. While the 6GB RAM/ 128GB model variant will cost CNY 1,799 (approx Rs 18,500), the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant will carry the price tag of CNY 1,999 (approx Rs 20,600) respectively.
On the other hand, the Redmi X Pro will reportedly come at CNY 2,299 (approx Rs 23,700) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model. The high-end variant with 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant will cost CNY 2,599 (approx Rs 26,800).

According to recent leaks and rumors, the Realme X will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and 4GB/ 8GB RAM. Previously, it was tipped to come with 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 730 processor along with 4GB/ 6GB LPPDDR4x RAM and 128GB internal storage. The 3,680mAh battery will come with support for a VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology.
For photos and videos, the upcoming handset will come with a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. The dual camera set up (on the back) is tipped to come with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor (f/1.7 aperture) and a 5-megapixel depth camera. Camera features include a Super night scene mode.
Additionally, the Realme X is said to come with a 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio and an in-display fingerprint sensor (sixth gen optical module). The 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display will feature a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The dual-SIM smartphone will be available in Black-Blue, and White color options. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, and GPS + GLONASS. It is likely to run Android Pie operating system with Color OS 6.0 on top.

It comes with a 16-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.7 aperture, Sony IMX519 sensor) and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.4 aperture, GC5035 sensor). For selfies and video calling, the 25-megapixel front camera comes with f/2.0 aperture.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.3-inch IPS display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a peak brightness of 400 nits (with a contrast ratio of 1200:1). Additionally, it features a 2.5D curved glass comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla 5. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
