The new smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor along with up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB internal storage.
The Realme GT 5 is backed by a 5,240mAh battery with 150W fast charging support. However, the 24GB RAM variant gets a 4,600mAh battery that supports 240W fast charging.
Cameras
On the back, the new handset sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor (f/1.88 aperture), an 8MP wide-angle camera (112-degree field of view, f/2.2), and a 2MP macro camera (f/2.4).
For selfies and video calling, the Realme GT 5 features a 16-megapixel front camera. It comes with a Samsung S5K3P9 sensor and an f/2.45 aperture.

The Realme GT 5 runs Android 13 operating system with Realme UI 4 on top. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone sports a 6.74-inch display with full-HD+ (1,240 x 2,772 pixels) resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 93.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio, and 100 per cent coverage of the DCI: P3 colour gamut.
In terms of dimensions, the Realme GT 5 measures 163.13 x 75.38 x 8.9mm and weighs 205g. It comes in Flowing Silver Illusion Mirror and Starry Oasis colour options.
The new handset comes with an Awakening Halo System Pro notification LED module. Additional features include an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, as well as ambient light and proximity sensors.

Price and Availability

The Realme GT 5 is priced in China at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 34,000) for the 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant. The 16GB RAM/ 512GB storage model comes at CNY 3,299 (approx Rs 37,400).
On the other hand, the top-end variant with 24GB RAM/ 1TB storage costs CNY 3,799 (approx Rs 43,100). Sales will start in China on September 4. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.
