The Poco C50 is priced in India at Rs 6,499 for the 2GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant. The 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model comes at Rs 7,299.
However, the company is offering both variants at a special launch day price of Rs 6,249 and Rs 6,999, respectively. It comes in two color options – Country Green and Royal Blue.
The new budget smartphone is essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi A1+. It will be available for purchase from January 10 through Flipkart.

The Poco C50 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor and up to 3GB LPDDR4X RAM. The 32GB storage can be expanded (up to 512GB) via a dedicated micro SD card slot.
In terms of optics, the new entry-level smartphone sports an AI-backed dual-camera setup on the back. It uses an 8-megapixel primary sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the Poco C50 features a 5-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.

The Poco C50 runs Android 12 (Go Edition) OS. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Beidou, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a micro-USB port.
The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone sports a 6.52-inch display with HD+ (1,600 x 700 pixels) resolution, a 120Hz touch sampling rate, and a waterdrop-shaped notch.
In terms of dimensions, the Poco C50 measures 76.45x 164.9x 9.09mm and weighs 192 grams. The rear panel houses a fingerprint sensor for authentication.
