Philips has launched its two new smartphones- Philips Xenium I908 and S309 in the Indian market. The flagship Philips Xenium I908 smartphone packs high-end specifications while the latter is company’s latest budget smartphone.

Speaking of the Xenium I908 first, it is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The device features a 5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. On storage front, it houses 16GB of internal memory. The handset sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera with 88 degree wide angel lens. Backed up by a 3000mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 25 hours of talk time and up to 1080 hours of standby time.

The Philips S309 on the other hand, comes with a 1.0GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch display with Capacitive Touch Panel (CTP), 5 mega pixel rear camera, 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera and 4GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB using microSD card). It is backed up by a 1600mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 9.5 hours of talk time and up to 500 hours of standby time.
