Panasonic Toughbook CF-54 Launched In India

Panasonic has launched its Panasonic Toughbook CF-54 semi-rugged laptop in the Indian market. This device is touted as the most stylish, thinnest and lightest semi-rugged laptop. The laptop measures 29.8 mm in thickness and weighs 1.99 kg which makes it approximately 50% thinner and 25% lighter than the previous model CF-53.

The CF-54 laptop is suitable for business professionals, service engineers in the automotive diagnostic industry, field work and other business verticals. It also allows users to customize it on the basis of usage with integrated ports, 3G, dedicated GPS and other customization.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 5th Generation Intel CoreTM i5-5300U vProTM processor (3 MB cache, 2.3 GHz up to 2.9 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology) coupled with 4GB of RAM which is expandable up to 16GB. It features a 14-inch display which is viewable even in sunlight.

The device comes with spill resistant keyboard, vibration and shock resistant features. It is also drop shock resistant till up to 2.5 feet. The battery of this PC is good enough to survive up to 11 hours. It comes with Hot swappable battery feature which lets users change the batteries without shutting down the PC. It is built for easy integration into existing IT infrastructures as well as for smooth deployments.
