The Panasonic P85 NXT is priced in India at Rs 6,999. It will be available in the country via offline channels. The company has partnered with UDAAN (network centric B2B trade platform) for selling P85 NXT in the Indian market. It comes with Black, Champagne Gold, and Dark Blue color options.

The new handset is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor and 2GB RAM. The 16GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB). The budget smartphone is backed by a large 4,000mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Panasonic P85 NXT sports an 8-megapixel rear camera sensor with autofocus and LED flash. The handset also features a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front camera for selfies and video calling. Both cameras are accompanied by an LED flash on the front as well.

The Panasonic P85 NXT runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. It also comes with the company’s proprietary Arbo Hub. The AI-powered app recommendation platform provides access to multiple apps and services on a single platform. Current partners include Accuweather, Uber, Ola, Newspoint, Mobikwik, and Gamezop.
For security, the new handset comes with Face unlock support. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, a Micro-USB port with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 5.0-inch display with HD resolution, 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 1 protection. It measures 141.7 x 70.8 x 9.3mm and weighs 173.8 grams. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

Recently, the company launched the Panasonic Eluga Z1 and Eluga Z1 Pro in India at Rs 14,490 and Rs 17,490, respectively. Both handsets are powered by a 2.0Ghz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor. In terms of optics, the Panasonic Eluga Z1 and Eluga Z1 Pro sport dual rear camera setup on the back. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The 8-megapixel front camera also comes with a flash module.
