The Panasonic Eluga Ray 600 is priced in India at Rs 7,999. It will be exclusively available via Flipkart from October 11. The new handset is part of Flipkart’s Big Bilion Days Sale, which will take place from October 10 to October 14.

The new handset is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6739WA quad-core processor and 3GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card (up to 128GB). The company claims that the 4,000mAh battery offers a day’s worth of battery life.
In terms of optics, the Panasonic Eluga Ray 600 sports a 13-megapixel autofocus sensor on the back (with LED flash). The 8-megapixel front sensor also comes with flash support. Camera features include auto scene detection, bokeh effect, and time-lapse video.

The Panasonic Eluga Ray 600 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and comes preloaded with an Arbo Hub app. With over 20 apps on board (including Uber, Ola, Newspoint, and MobiKwik) the AI-based app can be used for services such as cab bookings, bill payments, news, cricket info, horoscope, etc.
A multi-function FPS button allows users to access apps with just a single touch. You can also click a selfie with the FPS button. In terms of dimensions, the new handset measures 158.5 x 75.5 x 7.9mm and weighs 158 grams. It comes in three color options – Blue, Black, and Gold.
The Panasonic Eluga Ray 600 features a 5.99-inch IPS Big View display with HD+ resolution. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. It also supports Face Unlock feature. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
The dual-SIM smartphone comes with standard connectivity options. This includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, micro USB 2.0 port, GPS, GLONASS, FM Radio, OTG, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
