The Panasonic Eluga I9 is priced in India at Rs 7,499. It will be exclusively available via Flipkart from December 15. At its price point, the new smartphone will take on the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 5A and Nokia 2.

The Eluga I9 features a 5.0-inch IPS display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor and 3GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via microSD (up to 128GB).
In terms of optics, the Panasonic Eluga I9 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. The 5-megapixel front camera also comes with a diffused, selfie flash. Camera features include a watermark mode, panorama mode, burst mode, and multiple filters.

The Panasonic Eluga I9 runs a customized version of Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. It also comes with the company’s own Arbo virtual assistant. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB and OTG support.
The dual-SIM smartphone also comes with a fingerprint sensor. The company is also touting its ergonomic design. It comes in Space Grey, Champagne Gold, and Blue color options.
