Samsung Galaxy Tab A Tablets With 8-inch & 9.7-inch Displays Announced

Samsung has unveiled its two new Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablets at an event in Russia. According to AllAboutPhones, the tablets have been introduced in 8-inch and 9.7-inch display sizes. Under the hood, both the tablets are powered by 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core processor accompanied with 2 GB of RAM. The tablets also sport a 5 mega pixel rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Datawind, the Canadian firm known for its Aakash tablets has launched its two new budget smartphones, Datawind PocketSurfer 2G4 & PocketSurfer 3G4 in India. Datawind has also partnered with RCom to offer free unlimited data with the devices for one year which includes web browsing, email and social networking. The dual-SIM DataWind PocketSurfer 2G4 under the hood, packs a 1 GHz Cortex A5 processor coupled with 256 MB of RAM. Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, it features a 3.5 inch capacitive display with 480 x 320 pixels resolution.
