Spice Fire One Mi-FX 2 With Firefox OS Launched at Rs. 2,799: Specs & Features

Spice has launched its latest smartphone Spice Fire One Mi-FX 2 running Firefox operating system. It is essentially the successor of Spice Fire One Mi-FX1 which was launched last year in August. Under the hood, the Fire One Mi-FX2 is powered by a 1GHz processor paired with 256MB of RAM. It features a 3.5-inch HVGA LCD display with 480×320 pixels resolution and runs Firefox OS 1.4. The phone comes with 2 mega pixel rear camera and a 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera. There is 512MB of inbuilt storage onboard which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Backed up by a 1100 mAh battery, the handset is claimed to deliver up to 6 hours and 30 minutes of talk time and up to 4 days of standby time on 2G networks.

Xolo has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Xolo Prime in India. As for specifications, the handset is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It features a 4.5-inch IPS display with 218 ppi pixel density and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. On imaging front, it packs a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera and is backed up by an 1800 mAh battery. Camera features on the handset include Face recognition , panorama, Face beauty, Geo tagging and HDR. Flaunting its glass finish back, the handset will be available in Black, Blue, Red and Gold color options.

Dell Announces Next Generation Vostro Notebooks For India: Details Inside

Dell has launched next generation Vostro Notebooks in India, targeted towards small businesses, home offices, and mobile professionals. This series comprises of 14-inch and 15-inch notebooks which have been designed to offer impressive performance.

As for specifications, the Vostro 14 and Vostro 15 are powered Intel processors (up to core i5). The former is claimed to deliver up to 9 hours of battery life and the Vostro 15 is enough to survive up to 8 hours 42 minutes. Measuring less than 1.85 mm in thoickness, both notebook are sleeker than the previous generation and are available to buy in Black and Red colors.

MediaTek Helio X20, World’s First Deca-Core SoC With Tri-Cluster CPU Announced

MediaTek has launched world’s first deca-core (ten processing cores) SoC with tri-cluster CPU architecture dubbed the MediaTek Helio X20. The first Helio SoC, Helio 10 was launched at Mobile World Congress 2015. The Helio X20 will take on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series, which has been incorporated in several flagship devices this year.

The MediaTek Helio X20 comes with three processor clusters which have designed to handle workloads with more efficiency. It comprises of two A72 cores clocked at 2.5GHz (for extreme loads), four A53 cores clocked at 2.0GHz (for medium loads) and four A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz (for light loads). It will feature Mali T800 series GPU, however the exact model is not known yet.

Sony has introduced its Sony Xperia A4 smartphone in Japan in collaboration with NTT Docomo. There is no word on availability of the handset in markets outside Japan, however a similar variant of Xperia A4 is likely to be launched under Z series in other markets. Under the hood, the Xperia A4 is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It comes with a 4.6-inch Triluminos display with X-Reality for mobiles and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. On imaging front, it sports a 20.7 mega pixel rear camera with Exmos RS sensor and LED flash while there is also a 2.2 mega pixel front facing camera onboard.

Intex Cloud N Launched At Rs. 4,199: Specs & Features

Intex has launched its new smartphone dubbed the Intex Cloud N in the Indian market. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, it features a 4-inch IPS display with 800×480 pixels resolution. There is 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. The Cloud N sports an 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera.

Backed up by a 1400mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 235 hours of standby time.
