As expected, Sony has launched its Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium smartphones in India. To recall, both smartphones were announced back in September at IFA 2015. Dual-SIM versions of both smartphones have been launched in India. While the Xperia Z5 is company’s flagship phone, the Xperia Z5 Premium is called as super-flagship by the company and is world’s first smartphone to feature a 4K UHD display with four times pixels resolution of the full HD display.

Lenovo finally launched its Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m smartphones in India. Unveiled at IFA 2015 back in September, both devices flaunt their massive batteries with fast charging capabilities.

The Lenovo Vibe P1 is backed up by a 5000mAh battery which is good enough to provide 44 hours of talktime. It features a bright Assertive display as well as fingerprint scanner for added security. The Vibe P1m packs a 3900mAh battery which the company claims to deliver up to 16 hours of talk time and 20 days of standby time. iBall has expanded its Slide series of tablets with the launch of iBall Slide Avonte 7 tablet in India. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 7-inch HD IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution.

There is 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. The tablet sports a 13 mega pixel rotating camera with auto focus and packs a 2800mAh battery. Besides dual SIM support, it offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. Lenovo has launched three new smartphones in India- Lenovo A1000, A6000 Shot and K3 Note Music. The Lenovo A1000 is essentially a budget smartphone. The A6000 Shot succeeds the Lenovo A6000 Plus smartphone while the K3 Note Music as the name suggests, is an upgraded variant of Lenovo K3 Note.

The A6000 comes with a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel rear camera as compared to 8 mega pixel primary camera and 2 mega pixel secondary camera of the predecessor. The Lenovo K3 Note Music flaunts ceramic speakers on the rear Smart PA audio chip and Waves MaxxAudio technology.

A month after its introduction at an event in San Francisco, the Apple iPad Mini 4 is available to buy in India. It is available to buy from online retailer Infibeam and carries the same price tag as the Apple iPad Mini 3 that was launched last year.

To recall, the iPad Mini 4 is powered by a 64-bit Apple A8 processor and features a 7.9-inch display with 2048×1536 pixels resolution and 326ppi pixel density. Alcatel has finally launched its camera-centric smartphone- Alcatel Flash 2 in India. It succeeds the Alcatel Flash smartphone which was launched in India last year in 2014.
