Amazon has introduced white variant of Kindle eBook reader in India. While the device was earlier available only in black color, now buyers would be able to buy white Kindle in the Indian market.

Besides the difference in color, the white variant of the device shares same set of specifications as the black variant. It features a 6-inch touch screen display with pixel density of 167ppi and resolution of 800×600 pixels. It comes loaded with features like Kindle FreeTime, Goodreads integration and Word Wise.

Micromax seems to be on a launching spree. After quietly launching Canvas Blaze 4G+ Q414 and Canvas Mega E353 smartphones earlier this month, the company has silently launched the Micromax Canvas Amaze smartphone. The Canvas Amaze is now available to buy via online retailer eBay.in.

As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor paired with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The handset runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and features a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The display of the phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against scratches.

Gionee has taken the wraps off its latest smartphone, dubbed the Gionee Elife S6 in China. Though not as thin as the previous smartphones in the S line up of Gionee, the Elife S6 has thickness of mere 6.9mm. Moreover, with thin bezels, it has display to body ratio of 77.8%.

As for specifications, it is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali T-720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1.1 operating system wrapped under AMIGO OS 3.1, it features a 5.5-inch HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.

InFocus has announced that its InFocus M812 and M370 smartphones will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow update by the end of this year. Both handsets will thus, run the latest version of Android by December 2015.
