Mio Global has entered the Indian market with the launch of its wrist-based heart rate monitors and watches. Mio has launched Mio Fuse, Alpha 2 and Link fitness wearables in the country with price starting at Rs. 6,599. The Mio fitness wearables will allow Indian fitness enthusiasts to maintain better fitness regime by creating personalized fitness goals and also keep a track of progress.

The Mio Fuse is a combination of functions of a heart rate monitor, sports watch and activity tracker into a single device. The Alpha 2 is a heart rate monitor sport watch. Both Mio Fuse and the Mio Alpha 2 can be grabbed in a variety of colors and sizes.

Lava has introduced a new device in its 4G smartphone portfolio, dubbed the Lava X10. As far as specifications of the handset are concerned, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM.

Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop wrapped under Star OS, it features a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The screen is protected against scratches by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The handset houses 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded using microSD card. The X10 sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.

Creative Peripherals has launched its latest voice-calling tablet- Smart SQ718 3G in India. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8382 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 7-inch display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels.
