Oppo has launched two new smartphones with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Both the Oppo RX17 Pro and RX17 Neo sport a waterdrop-shaped notch, 25-megapixel AI selfie cam, and feature a 6.4-inch display. The Oppo RX17 Neo comes with a price tag of EUR 349 (approx Rs 29,000). It comes in Mocha Red and Astral Blue color options. Whereas the Oppo RX17 Pro is priced at EUR 599 Euros (approx Rs 49,800). It will be available in Mocha Red, Astral Blue, Radiant Mist and Emerald Green color options.
Both smartphones will be made available from November 16 in select regions (Italy, France, Spain, and the Netherlands). The new handsets are rebranded variants of the Oppo R17 Pro and Oppo R17 Neo (previously launched in China).

The new smartphone features a 6.4-inch display with full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels), 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by an octa-core (2 x 2.2GHz Kryo 360 cores + 6 x 1.7GHz Kryo 360 cores) Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor along with Adreno 616 GPU, 6GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Oppo RX17 Pro sports a triple camera set up at the back. It combines a 12-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.5-2.4 variable aperture, OIS), a 20-megapixel secondary sensor (f/1.6 aperture), and a third Time of Flight (TOF) 3D sensing camera. The 25-megapixel front camera comes with a Sony IMX576 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and AI features.

The new handset is backed by a 3,700mAh battery with SuperVOOC Flash Charge support (charge from zero to 40 percent in just 10 minutes). It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with ColorOS 5.2 on top.

The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by an octa-core (4 x 2.2GHzKyro 260 cores + 4 x 1.8GHz Kyro 260 cores) Snapdragon 660 processor along with Adreno 512 GPU and 4GB RAM. It sports a dual camera setup on the back (16-megapixel sensor with f/1.75 aperture + 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture).
The Oppo RX17 Neo is backed by a 3,600mAh battery. It measures 158.3 x 75.5 x 7.4mm and weighs 156 grams. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5, GPS, and a Micro USB port.
