After being listed in Europe, Oppo has launched the new Reno Z smartphone in China. The Reno series smartphone comes with a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, 6GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage. The Oppo Reno Z is priced in China at CNY 2,499 (approx Rs 25,200) for both variants (6GB RAM/ 256GB storage, 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage). Sales will begin from June 6 in China. It comes in Bead White, Coral Orange, Extreme Night Black, and Star Purple color options.
In Europe, the new handset is listed at 190 Euros (approx Rs 14,800) in two color options (Ocean Green and Jet Black). As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

The new handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P90 processor along with IMG PowerVR GM 9446 GPU, 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage (non-expandable). It is backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery that supports 20W (5V/4A) VOOC 3.0 flash charging technology.
In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno Z sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor (f/1.7 aperture) with a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone features a 32-megapixel front camera (housed in a waterdrop-shaped display notch).

The Oppo Reno Z runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system with ColorOS 6.0 skin on top. It comes with the company’s Breeno digital assistant.
features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels), 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 92 percent screen-to-body ratio, and HDR10 support. It measures 157.3 x 74. x 9.1mm and weighs 186 grams.
Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, Dolby Atmos support, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Recently, Oppo launched the first Reno smartphone in the Chinese market. It sports a panoramic AMOLED display and a side-swing selfie camera module. Additionally, a 10x Zoom Edition sports a triple rear camera setup with a periscope telephoto lens. The new smartphones will be launched in India on May 28.
The Oppo Reno is priced in China at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 30,900) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB internal storage variant. While the 6GB RAM/ 256GB storage model costs CNY 3,299 (approx Rs 34,000), the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant comes with a price tag of CNY 3,599 (approx Rs 37,100).
On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition costs CNY 3,999 (approx Rs 41,200) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. While the 6GB RAM/ 256GB storage model comes at CNY 4,499 (approx Rs 46,400), the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 4,799 (approx Rs 49,500). A 5G-ready variant is expected to arrive later this year.
