As per recent leaks and reports, the mid-range smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor along with 4GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB internal storage. It is tipped to be backed by a 3,600mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno A is tipped to sport a dual camera set up on the back. It will include a 16-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies and video calling, it is tipped to feature a 25-megapixel front camera (f/2.4 aperture).
Additionally, the upcoming handset is said to sport a 19.5:9 display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution. It will feature a waterdrop-shaped display notch and gradient-finish back panel.
In terms of dimensions, it will measure 158.4 x 75.4 x 7.8mm and weigh 169 grams. It might also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.

It will sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels), 20:9 aspect ratio, 93.1 percent screen to body ratio, and Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It will also sport an in-display fingerprint sensor 3.0 (with G3 optical sensor fingerprint unlocking tech).
The upcoming smartphone will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 730G processor and 8GB RAM. The 128GB/ 256GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno 2 is said to sport a quad-camera set up (48MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP) on the back. It is touted to come with 20X zoom support.
For selfies and video calling, the flagship handset will sport a 16-megapixel front camera. It will use a Side-swing pop-up mechanism. The 4,000mAh battery will support VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology.
