The Oppo Reno 5F is expected to be unveiled on March 22. It is likely to be available for purchase in Kenya from March 26. As of now, there is no information about the price tag.
The new handset will join the Oppo Reno 5 series that includes the Oppo Reno 5, Oppo Reno 5 Pro, and Oppo Reno 5 Pro+. It is essentially a toned down version of the Oppo Reno 5 4G.

As per recent teasers and leaks, the Oppo Reno 5F will sport an “Ultra Slim Body” with a hole-punch cut out for the selfie camera and a rectangular camera module on the back.
The upcoming handset will feature a quad rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. Camera features include AI color portrait mode and dual-view video mode.
The Oppo Reno 5F is said to be backed by a 4,310mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0. Additional features include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.

The Oppo Reno 5 4G was launched at the end of December 2020. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor along with Adreno 618 GPU and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM.

The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone features a 6.4-inch display with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 91.7 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The Oppo Reno 5 runs the Android 11 operating system with ColorOS 11.1 on top. The 128GB storage can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot.
