Oppo has finally launched the first Reno smartphone in the Indian market. It sports a panoramic AMOLED display and a side-swing selfie camera module. The Oppo Reno is priced in India at Rs 32,990 for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB internal storage variant. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition costs Rs 39,990 for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The high-end model with 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage comes at Rs 49,990.
Both smartphones will be available from June 7 via Flipkart. The company is also offering an international warranty service. Additionally, a 5G-ready variant is expected to arrive later this year.
The Oppo Reno is priced in China at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 30,900) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB internal storage variant. While the 6GB RAM/ 256GB storage model costs CNY 3,299 (approx Rs 34,000), the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant comes with a price tag of CNY 3,599 (approx Rs 37,100).
On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition costs CNY 3,999 (approx Rs 41,200) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. While the 6GB RAM/ 256GB storage model comes at CNY 4,499 (approx Rs 46,400), the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 4,799 (approx Rs 49,500).

Both the Oppo Reno and Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition run Android Pie operating system with ColorOS 6 on top. Additionally, a Breeno Assistant comes with features such as screen/ voice recognition and multi-modal interactions.
The built-in NFC technology supports the Oppo Wallet feature. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
For gaming enthusiasts, the new smartphones use Game Boost 2.0 acceleration engine with Frame Boost and Touch Boost accelerations. The audio is enhanced by Hi-Res and Dolby Atmos support.
Both handsets feature 3D curved glass protection with an O-Dot ceramic point at the back. Security features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

The new handset features a 6.4-inch panoramic AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution, 93.1 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Additionally, the TUV Rheinland certified screen supports DCI-P3 color gamut. It comes in four color options -Extreme Night Black, Fog Sea Green, Mist Powder, and Nebula Purple.
The Oppo Reno is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor along with 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB internal storage. The 3,765mAh battery comes with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
In terms of optics, the smartphone sports a dual camera setup on the back. It uses a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture). Camera features include multi-frame noise reduction, HDR support, and hand-held anti-shake.
For selfies and video calling, the handset sports a unique side-swing camera module (spin out in 0.8 seconds) with a 16-megapixel sensor and an f/2.0 lens. It supports five portrait modes and uses AI features.

The new smartphone comes with a 6.6-inch panoramic AMOLED display. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 855 processor along with 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB internal storage. The 4,065mAh battery comes with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition sports a triple camera setup on the back. It combines a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor (f/1.7 aperture) with a 13-megapixel secondary sensor (periscope telephoto lens) and an 8-megapixel tertiary sensor (super wide-angle lens).
The handset offers 10x lossless optical zoom with 16-160mm full focal length coverage. Other camera features include dual OIS support, noise reduction, HDR support, and artificial intelligence (AI) based night portrait mode.
The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition allows you to record 4K 60fps videos with OIS support. Additionally, a three-microphone setup enhances the audio with features like audio zoom recording and 3D surround audio capturing. It will only come in Jet Black and Ocean Green color options.
