Oppo announced a new R series smartphone in Beijing called Oppo R3. The company is touting the smartphone as slimmest 4G smartphone in the world with thickness of 6.3mm and 140grams weight. The Gionee Claims its Elife S5.5 is world’s slimmest smartphone with the thickness of 5.5mm, but it do not have 4G LTE connectivity. The 5-inch display smartphone comes with O-video feature, combines photos and videos and upload them online instantly.
So the world is slimmest 4G smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display along with 1280*720pixel resolution display, powered by a 1.6GHz quad core processor from Qualcomm Snapdragon and a Adreno 305 GPU for better graphics. There is 1GB RAM on board as well. The smartphone running on Android based Colour operating system 1.4 ROM.
There is 8-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera as well for video calling and selfie. There is 8GB of internal storage along with up to 32GB memory card support on board.
On the connectivity front, the Oppo R3 supports 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The Oppo R3 packed with 2420mAh battery. The smartphone launched in China and will go on sale from end of this month. The smartphone announced in two different colours Black and White. The international availability of smartphone is not known yet.
