The Oppo R15x is priced in China at CNY 2,499 (approx Rs 26,400). It is now up for pre-orders on Opposhop. Pre-ordering customers will get a free M11 Bluetooth speaker. Sales start from November 1.

The new handset is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor along with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It is backed by a 3,500mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Oppo R15x sports a dual camera setup on the back (vertically aligned). It comes with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor. The 25-megapixel front camera comes with AI enhancements, 800 detection modes, and intelligent beauty features.

The Oppo R15x sports a 6.4-inch display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340pixels) resolution, 91 percent screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor. Additionally, the new handset comes with a waterdrop style notch over the display and features a 3D glass back.
The new smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with ColorOS 5.2 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi i 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and GLONASS, micro USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It comes in Nebula and Ice Blue color options.

The new Oppo handset is said to be the global variant of the Oppo K1. It sports the same design and mostly similar specifications. The Oppo K1 is priced at CNY 1,599 (approx Rs 17,100) for the 4GB RAM variant. The 6GB RAM variant costs CNY 1,799 (approx Rs 19,300). It is backed by a 3,600mAh battery.
Recently, the company launched its Oppo A5 smartphone in India at Rs 14,990. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC along with Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage (expandable up to 256GB). The dual camera setup combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The 8-megapixel front camera comes with a f/2.2 aperture and Oppo’s Beauty Technology 2.0. The new smartphone is backed by a 4,230mAh battery and features a 6.2-inch FullView HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, and an 87.9 percent screen-to-body ratio
