Hardware, specifications and build quality
Oppo N1 is fairly large in physical form factor and does feel massive in hands with a large full HD 5.9 inch display. It has a 13 MP rotating camera module on the top which rotates 180 degrees and works as both front as well as rear camera as you can rotate it an any angle in this range.
In terms of specs, it is powered by a 1.7 GHz qualcomm snapdragon 600 quad core CPU, has 2GB RAM, 16 GB/ 32 GB internal memory options. It also has 4D gyroscopic sensor, distance, light and G-Sensor. It supports WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G etc. when it comes to connectivity options.
Software and user experience
Software on the phone is a customized skin or UI running on top of Android jelly bean 4.2 operating system. The user interface feels smooth and the software and UI looks neat and responsive.
Price, Value for money and competition
At around Rs. 40,000, its priced on steep side of the competition and seems bit pricey to us. In this segment, you can also look at Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z Ultra as alternatives which are similar form factor and almost similarly priced in the market (MOP).
