The Oppo K9 5G is priced at CNY 1,899 (approx Rs 21,600) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage model costs CNY 2,199 (approx Rs 25,000).
The new smartphone will be available in China from May 11. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.

The Oppo K9 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor along with an Adreno 620 GPU, 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB internal storage.
The new handset is backed by a 4,300mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. It can be fully charged in 35 minutes. 5 minutes of charging is said to offer up to 2 hours of usage.
In terms of optics, the Oppo K9 5G sports a triple rear camera setup. It uses a 64MP primary sensor (f/1.7 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle (f/2.2), and a 2MP macro lens (f/2.4).

The Oppo K9 5G runs Android 11 OS with ColorOS 11.1 on top. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM (Nano) sports a 6.43-inch display with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, up to 180Hz touch sampling rate, 91.7 percent screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 410ppi pixel density.

In term of dimensions, the Oppo K9 5G measures 159.1 x 73.4 x 7.9mm and weighs 172 grams. It comes in Black and Gradient colour options.
To avoid heating issues, the company has added an enhanced large-area VC liquid-cooled heat sink copper plate and multi-layer thermal conductive graphite sheet for heat dissipation.
Sensors on the device include a geomagnetic sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, gravity sensor, gyroscope, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
