Oppo is all set to launch the successor of its F9 Pro smartphone in India. The Oppo F11 Pro will sport a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a Super Night mode. Oppo has confirmed that the F11 Pro smartphone will be launched in India on March 5. However, there is no information about its price as yet.

According to recent leaks and reports, the Oppo F11 Pro will sport a vertically aligned dual camera set up on the back. It will include a 48-megapixel primary sensor (with AI support, f/1.79 aperture) and a 5-megapixel (f/2.4 aperture) secondary sensor. The company claims that the upcoming handset will also support Super Night Mode for low-light conditions.
“The Super Night Mode of the Oppo F11 Pro functions with Oppo’s exclusive AI Ultra-Clear Engine which includes the AI Engine, Ultra-clear Engine, and Color Engine. The AI Engine and Ultra-clear Engine deliver the perfect Super Night Mode which intelligently recognizes scenes and optimizes the settings. It also helps in optimization for image-stabilization during a long exposure, low-light performance, and skin brightening,” Oppo said in a statement.
The Geekbench listing hints that the upcoming handset (with model number CPH1969) runs Android 9 Pie operating system with Color OS 6 on top. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 processor along with 6GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB storage.
The Oppo F11 Pro features a 6.5-inch LTPS LCD display with full HD (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution and 90.9 percent screen-to-body ratio. It measures 161.3 x 76.1 x 8.8mm and weighs 190 grams. The handset will be available in Thunder Black and Aurora Green color options.
The upcoming smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou.
Additional features include 16-megapixel (f/2.0 aperture).pop-up selfie camera, VOOC 3.0 fast charging support, and a 3D gradient casing. A fingerprint sensor will be placed on the back.

The new 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 25,990. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 along with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (expandable up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the mid-range handset sports a dual rear camera setup. It combines a 16-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.4 aperture). The 25-megapixel front camera comes with f/2.0 aperture. Camera features include portrait mode, HDR mode, artificial intelligence (AI) based scene recognition, AI Beautification 2.1, AR stickers, and Slow Motion video.
The Oppo F9 Pro features a tall 6.3-inch LTPS TFT display with full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The 3,500mAh battery supports Oppo’s proprietary VOOC charging technology. A 5-min charge will offer up to two hours of talk-time.
The handset sports a display with a small waterdrop notch and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent. It measures 156.7 x 74 x 7.99mm and weighs 169 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
