The Oppo A7X is priced in China at CNY 2,099 (approx Rs 20,000). Sales start on September 14 at 10am Beijing Time. As part of a launch offer, the company is offering Oppo MH133 original headphones and a 3 months EMI option.

As per the new listing, the Oppo A7X is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor along with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and 4GB RAM. The 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256 GB). It is backed by a 4,230mAh battery.

In terms of optics, the new smartphone sports a dual camera setup (16MP + 8 MP) on the back with AI capabilities (recognizes five different scenes) and an LED flash. The 8-megapixel front camera also comes with AI features (understands your age, gender, skin color, etc).

In terms of design. the Oppo A7X is heavily inspired by the Oppo F9 Pro. It also features a smart sidebar (first seen on the Oppo F9 Pro). The handset comes in two color options – Star Purple and Ice Flame Blue.

The new smartphone sports a 6.3-inch display with full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. While the front has a waterdrop-shaped notch on top, the rear panel has a diamond cut gradient design. The dual cameras are horizontally stacked. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.

The Oppo A7X runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with the company’s proprietary Color OS 5.2 skin on top. It comes with a new ‘do not disturb’ mode. Additionally, an AI-backed feature allows you to scan business cards and documents.

As of now, there is no information about the Indian launch date or price. The Oppo F9 Pro is priced in India at Rs 23,990. It comes in three color options – Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple.

The 25-megapixel front camera comes with f/2.0 aperture. The 3,500mAh battery supports Oppo’s proprietary VOOC charging technology. A 5-min charge will offer up to two hours of talk-time.
