The Oppo A5s is priced in India at Rs 8,990 and Rs 9,990 for the 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM models, respectively. It comes in Black and Red color options.
The new 4GB RAM variant comes in Green and Gold color options. It is priced in India at Rs 15,990. However, it comes with a market operating price (MOP) of Rs 12,990.

The Oppo A5s is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor along with IMG GE8320 GPU and 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB RAM. The 32GB/ 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the new handset features a dual camera set up on the back. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture).
For selfies and video calling, the Oppo smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 4230mAh non-removable battery.

The Oppo A5s sports a 6.2-inch In-Cell display with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop notch. It measures 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.2mm and weighs 170 grams. Sensors on the device include an e-compass, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and G-Sensor/acceleration sensor.
The new handset runs Android Oreo operating system with ColorOS 5.2 on top. It comes with features like Smart Bar (allows you to quickly switch between apps), Music on Display, and Smart Scan (scans business cards/ translates the text from images). Additional features include shortcut tools like cutting and screen recording.
The smartphone measures 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.2mm and weighs 170 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, and a micro USB Port.
