OnePlus has revealed through a blog post that its forthcoming flagship phone OnePlus 2 will pack 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. This announcement is in line with the previous leak which revealed that there will be three variants of OnePlus 2- A2001, A2003, and A2005. The A2001 will feature 3GB of RAM while other two variants will be higher specced sporting 4GB of RAM.
“Unlike 32-bit processors that can only utilize up to 3GB of RAM, our 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor uses all 4GB to its maximum potential,” says OnePlus. More details about the forthcoming OnePlus 2 phone are likely to surface in the coming days. Stay tuned with us!

OnePlus’s next flagship phone called the OnePlus 2 is likely to launch in three variants- A2001, A2003, and A2005, according to the Bluetooth SIG authority filing (spotted by Droid-Life). The A2001 model as per the previous leaks, will be powered by Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The A2003 model is said to pack the same processor but will feature 4GB of RAM. The A2005 variant is the higher specced variant which could also arrive with 4GB of RAM.

Ahead of official launch of OnePlus 2 smartphone, a sketch of the upcoming phone has been spotted online. A Weibo user has posted an image of a device which is claimed to be OnePlus’s next flagship phone. Furthermore, he has revealed that the device will feature a 5.5-inch to 5.7-inch display. It is said to have taken design cues from its predecessor and will sport a metal frame with 5mm or 6mm thickness.
What we have learnt so far about the device is that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset, feature USB Type-C port and will be priced higher than $322. It is set to be launched at VR event on July 27, 2015.

After revealing pricing and SoC details of its forthcoming handset, OnePlus has now revealed another specification of the OnePlus 2 smartphone. The company has confirmed through its social media channels that its upcoming phone will feature USB Type-C Port. “OnePlus 2 will be the first flagship smartphone to use the latest Type C USB,” says the company.
OnePlus has already confirmed that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and will be priced higher than $322. While there is no word on exact launch date of the handset, several reports suggest that the company’s next flagship phone will be launched in July 2015. Last week, OnePlus announced two contests for its upcoming smartphone revealing the name of the handset which is going to be called the ‘OnePlus 2’. Now reports tipping the pricing and launch date have surfaced online. According to MyDrivers, the company is holding an event in July where the OnePlus 2 smartphone is expected to be launched. Furthermore, the publication has also revealed that the device will be launched at starting price of CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 20,000).
As for specifications, it is rumored to pack a 1.55GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 5.5-inch 1080p display, 16 mega pixel rear camera, 5 mega pixel front camera and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

After making rounds on benchmarking app Geekbench last week, the OnePlus 2 smartphone has now appeared in benchmark listing of another website named Ludashi. The listing on this website has the model number A2003 instead of A2001 on GeekBench. The handset is thus speculated to arrive in two variants. As per the latest leaks, the forthcoming phone will feature a full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, octa-core Snapdragon 810 SoC coupled with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It is rumored to feature a 13 mega pixel rear camera as opposed to 16 mega pixel camera in the previous leaks. Furthermore, the Two phone is expected to be launched on May 28 alongside Hydrogen OS.

While OnePlus is readying its Two smartphone for launch in third quarter of this year, a number of leaks about specifications of the upcoming handset have started making rounds over the internet. The OnePlus Two smartphone has been spotted on benchmarking app Geekbench. The device is listed with model number- OnePlus One A2001 which could be company’s next flagship Two phone. As per the benchmark listing, the handset will pack a 1.55GHz octa-core MSM8994 processor which relates to Snapdragon 810.
Other leaked specifications of the handset reveal that it will come with 3GB of RAM and run Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

The successor of OnePlus One, the OnePlus Two smartphone which is tipped to launch in Q3 this year could be priced at 2499 Yuan (Rs. 25,000 approximately). The information has been deciphered from OnePlus CEO Lie Zuohu’s Weibo page where he asked his followers “If OnePlus Two comes with Snapdragon 810, what do you think will be the price?” He got several replies and posted “2,499 Yuan seems to be a reasonable price.” This information has not been officially revealed but we could expect it to be company’s forthcoming flagship’s official pricing. Furthermore, OnePlus is also said to be working on a cheaper smartphone which is likely to be unveiled by the end of this year.

While rumors about OnePlus working on its Two smartphone have been churning the rumor mill lately, recent report from Bloomberg confirms that there is another cheaper handset which the company would be launching this year. Report confirms that OnePlus is working on not just one but two phones- OnePlus Two and cheaper smartphone. The OnePlus Two smartphone will be launched in third quarter of 2015 while another affordable phone will be rolled out by the end of this year.
There is no official word on the specifications of the handset. However, OnePlus Two smartphone while focussing more on the design, will feature metal frame unlike polycarbonate material of OnePlus One. The Two smartphone is also rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor accompanied with 3 GB RAM. It will feature a 5.5 inch display with 1080p resolution and run Oxygen operating system which has recently been rolled out for OnePlus One. Other specifications of the upcoming handset include a 16 mega pixel primary camera and a 5 mega pixel front shooter.
To recall, the OnePlus flagship One smartphone retails for Rs. 18,999 (16 GB) and Rs. 21,999 (64 GB) exclusively through Amazon India. As for specifications, it features a 5.5-inch JDI display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and runs Android 4.4 based CyanogenMod 11s operating system. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz paired with 3 GB of RAM. It comes in two storage variants- 16 GB and 64 GB. There is a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera onboard. It packs a 3100 mAh battery.
OnePlus also rolled out Oxygen Os for its One smartphone earlier this month. To download the build, OnePlus One users will have to visit OnePlus official website and follow the detailed instructions provided by the company on how to download and install the ROM.
