The new OxygenOS 5.1.9 software build comes with a significant camera update. The company claims that the improvements in the new update are based on community feedback. The highlight of the new update is Google Lens functionality. The new Google lens update will be rolled out via OTA. It was launched during its I/O conference last year.
The Google Lens integration allows users to access the smartphone camera for multiple usages. The new technology uses machine learning to offer more details about various objects and search relevant search tags. You can use the phone camera to scan QR codes, image recognition, etc. The smartphone offers information about objects seen through the lens such as books, buildings, and artworks.
As per DxOMark, the OnePlus 6 offers fast and accurate autofocus. Additionally, it captures bright and vivid colors along with other details. The new update further improves clarity, dynamic range, and edge detection in portrait mode. Additionally, it comes with ‘beauty mode’ for Selfie Portrait.
