Chinese company OnePlus are currently enjoying their success. The company is also being tipped the compete with giants such as Apple and Samsung. Their OnePlus 6 is already the most teased and speculated smartphone of 2018 (done by the company and also leaksters). Now a live image of the smartphone has been leaked online by Techtastic. The OnePlus 6 leaked image shows the front of the device and the notch design too. Even the thin-bezel display is seen. The company has announced the launch date of the flagship smartphone for India, China, and global markets.
The leaked image is totally similar to the smartphone’s alleged leaked renders in the past.
By the looks of the OnePlus 6 leaked image, it can be observed that it is pretty recent, as it displays a 23rd April date stamp. The smartphone can be seen in a case, which hides out the outer frame. The photo shows the OnePlus 6 wallpaper and certain Android 8.1 Oreo features. The Android 8.1 features can be seen in the status bar, icons, and on-screen buttons.

The device will feature the “Never Settle” company motto. The OnePlus 6 leaked image also displays the notch which has already been confirmed by the company officially. There will be space for an earpiece and front camera. It will also include a proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
The smartphone will come with a glass back with five layers of nanotech coating.
The company has already confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. In terms of memory, it has an 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant. The smartphone will also be equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The alert slider is predicted to come with a new set of functionalities. It will also be water and dust resistant.
The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.28-inch QHD+ display and it will run on Android 8.1 Oreo. Pete Lau has already shown of OnePlus 6 camera samples on Chinese social media Weibo. The pictures look good and prove that the camera has been intricately designed.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has already hinted towards the price of the flagship smartphone. The Chinese entrepreneur had revealed something similar prior to the official launch of OnePlus 5T. He has not done something similar. He responded to a OnePlus enthusiast’s question in Weibo regarding the OnePlus 6 price. The enthusiast in Weibo got a reply from the 42-year old who said “4” coupled with emojis.
The company has also teamed up with Marvel. An Avenger-themed OnePlus 6 will also be launched.
Moreover, the smartphone will be launched in India on 17th May 2018. It will debut in China on the same day. The global event for the smartphone will happen in London on 16th May 2018.
