OnePlus made its foray into the Indian market in November 2016. In the last two years, the company has seen tremendous success with its impressive smartphones. OnePlus 3 is OnePlus’s latest flagship smartphone which is continuing to stay in the limelight for its high-end specifications and premium design. While buyers are still not tired of praising the OnePlus 3, it looks like the company has already started working on its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 4.
Acoording to a recent leak, the upcoming OnePlus 4 will be powered by a Snapdragon 830 chipset and will be unveiled in mid 2017, June-July to be precise. This leak comes from a renowned Chinese leakster, ‘i ice universe’ who has posted the information about OnePlus’s forthcoming smartphone on Weibo.
The Snapdragon 830 chipset has not yet been revealed officially. However, Samsung has recently bagged a deal to manufacture Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 830 SoC. The high-end Snapdragon 830 chipset will be built on 10nm manufacturing process. It is said to come with octa-core CPU clocked at 3GHz and coupled with Adreno 620 GPU. It is also rumored to support 4K display resolution and up to 8GB of RAM. The OnePlus 4 is also expected to pack 4000mAh battery and run Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
Needless to say, this piece of information should be taken with a pinch of salt as OnePlus has not yet revealed anything about the phone.
