If you live in India and were waiting to try your hands on the OnePlus 3T smartphone, then the wait is finally over. The upgraded variant of OnePlus 3, called the 3T, is now available to buy in India. With price starting at Rs. 29,999, the 3T can be grabbed exclusively via Amazon starting today (December 14, 2016).

To recall, the OnePlus 3T was unveiled last month in November. It is an upgraded version of the OnePlus 3 and comes with a faster chipset, improved front camera, bigger battery and more storage. Rest of the specifications of both smartphones are identical.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 3T packs a 2.35GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor paired with Adreno 530 GPU and massive 6GB of RAM. It features a 5.5-inch full HD Optic AMOLED display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. Based on storage, it comes in two variants- one with 64GB of RAM while other variant packs 128GB of internal memory.

For photgraphy buffs, the smartphone sports a 16 mega pixel camera on the back as well as on the front. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Oxygen OS. The new Oxygen OS based on Android 7.0 Nougat will be rolled out for both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T at the same time later this year. Going forward, the software updates for both smartphones will follow the same schedule.

The OnePlus 3T features the same design as the OnePlus 3. It flaunts its anodised aluminium metal unibody design and features a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button.
