OnePlus has finally launched the most anticipated successor of OnePlus One phone, called the OnePlus 2. The OnePlus 2 will go on sale in India starting August 11, 2015 by invite system. It will be available exclusively on Amazon India.

Display
Both device boast a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and 401 ppi pixel density. The screens of both handsets are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
Processor, RAM, Storage
While the predecessor was powered by Snapdragon 810 SoC, the latest flagship comes with 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with Adreno 430 GPU promising faster performance. The OnePlus 2 comes in two variants- one with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage while other variant packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The OnePlus One can be grabbed in 16GB and 64GB variants, both with 3GB of RAM. Both devices lack expandable storage support.
Camera
There is a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front camera on both handsets. The OnePlus 2 comes with improved features such as laser auto focus and OIS.
Battery
The OnePlus One is backed up by a 3100mAh battery while the OnePlus 2 is fuelled by a larger 3300mAh battery.
Software
The latest flagship phone runs OxygenOS based on Android 5.1 as opposed to CyanogenMod 11S based Android 4.4.2 KitKat of OnePlus One. The OxygenOS offers more customization options such as Dark mode and Screen gestures.

Verdict
The OnePlus 2 does come with plenty of upgrades over its predecessor such as more RAM, different SoC, improved camera, fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, metal frame and thin bezels. This device is essentially an impressive device with top-notch features in this price range.
