ZTE has launched two new Nubia brand smartphones in China. The new Nubia Z17S and Nubia Z17 miniS come with four cameras (dual cameras on front and back). While the ZTE Nubia Z17S is the company’s new flagship device, the Nubia Z17 miniS comes with mid-range specifications. The Nubia Z17S comes in two variants. The Nubia Z17S costs CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 30,000) for the 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant. The 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 3,999 (approx Rs 40,000). On the other hand, the Nubia Z17 miniS will be available at CNY 1,999 (approx Rs 20,000).
Both the new smartphones will be available from October 19. Pre-orders have already started. As of now, there is no information about an Indian launch and price.

Nubia Z17S
The Nubia Z17S features a 5.73-inch LTPS TFT display with a resolution of 1080 x 2040 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with the company’s Nubia UI 5.1 on top. The Nubia Z17S is backed by a 3100mAh battery with fast charging support. It comes with USB Type-C port and supports up to 26W flash charge.
On the camera front, the flagship model sports a dual camera setup on front and back. The rear camera setup combines a 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 sensor with a 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 sensor. It offers up to 2x optical zoom and dual-tone LED flash. At the front, the new handset uses two 5-megapixel cameras with f/2.2 aperture.
In terms of design, the Nubia Z17S sports an all-metal design with 3D glass finish at the back and Corning Gorilla Glass on both the sides. The full-screen display comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The dual-SIM smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Nubia Z17 miniS
The Nubia Z17 miniS sports a 5.2-inch display with full-HD resolution, curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor along with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It runs Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with Nubia UI 5.0 on top.
The rear camera setup on the Nubia Z17 miniS combines two 13-megapixel Sony sensors (Monochrome + RGB) with f/2.2 aperture, NeoVision 7.0, and a dual-tone LED flash. At the front, the new handset uses a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor.
In terms of design, the Nubia Z17 miniS also features a 3D glass body finish with metal construction. However, Corning Gorilla Glass protection is absent from the back panel. The dual-SIM smartphone also sports a fingerprint sensor (embedded in the home button) on the front. It is backed by a 3200mAh battery and comes with a USB Type-C port.
