The new Nubia Red Magic 6 series comes with premium specs like a Snapdragon 888 SoC and high refresh rate displays.
The new gaming smartphones come with active cooling for the heat sink. There is also a Tencent Games branding on the back. Let’s take a closer look:

The new handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor along with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is backed by a 5,050mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.
For cooling, Nubia has added a powerful system called ICE6.0. It uses an 18,000-rpm high-speed centrifugal fan, a cooling canyon air duct, superconducting copper foil, thermal gel, graphene, and a VC heat sink.
Cameras
In terms of optics, the Red Magic 6 features a triple rear camera setup. It uses a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
For selfies and video calling, the gaming smartphone sports an 8MP front camera. It is placed in the top bezel. There is no notch, hole-punch cutout, or a pop-up module.
Camera features include 4K video recording, HDR support, in-house Neovision camera optimizations, Cyberpunk filters, etc.

The Nubia Red Magic 6 runs the Android 11 operating system with RedMagic OS 4.0 on top. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM (nano) smartphone comes with dual-touch gaming shoulder buttons and a light-up logo on the back. It sports dual stereo speakers with DTS X Ultra support and Qualcomm aptX.
The 6.8-inch display comes with a 165Hz refresh rate, 500Hz single finger touch sampling rate, 360Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate, and 91.28 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) touchscreen also comes with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, SGS high brush low smear, and SGS Low Blue Light Eye Care certifications.
Sensors on the device include a gravity sensor, accelerometer, gyro, geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The gaming handset comes with up to 18GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 120W charging.
The Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro features a 7-layer multi-dimensional cooling system that uses a faster 20,000 rpm high-speed centrifugal fan and additional aviation-grade cooling ice blade.
Rest of the specifications and features are almost identical to the Red Magic 6 smartphone.

Price and Availability

The Nubia Red Magic 6 is priced at CNY 3,799 (approx Rs 42,700) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The top-end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs CNY 4,399 (approx Rs 49,500).
The 12GB RAM/ 128GB storage model comes with a price tag of CNY 4,099 (approx Rs 46,000). It comes in Carbon Fibre Black and Cyber Neon color option.

On the other hand, the Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro costs CNY 4,399 (approx Rs 49,500) for the 12GB RAM/ 128GB variant. It comes in Black Iron and Ice Blade Silver color options.
The 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage and 16GB RAM/ 256GB storage models cost CNY 4,799 (approx Rs 54,000) for the and CNY 5,299 (approx Rs 59,600), respectively.
A Transparent Edition costs CNY 5,599 (approx Rs 63,000) for the 16GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant. The 18GB RAM/ 512GB storage model is priced at CNY 6,599 (approx Rs 74,200).
The new Nubia Red Magic 6 series is now available for pre-registration in China. Sales will start from March 11. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.
