The Nubia Red Magic 5S is priced in China at CNY 3,799 (approx Rs 40,600) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant.
While the 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage model costs CNY 4,399 (approx Rs 47,000), the 16GB RAM/ 256GB storage model comes with a price tag of CNY 4,999 (approx Rs 53,400).
The smartphone comes in two color options. While the Cyber Neon option is limited to the 12GB and 16GB RAM variants, the Ice Wind Silver color option is not available with the top-end model.
Sales will start in China on August 1. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.
In addition to the new gaming phone, the company has also launched a dedicated Ice Dock cooling accessory. It is priced at CNY 179 (approx Rs 1,900).

The Nubia Red Magic 5S is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor along with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
In terms of optics, the smartphone sports a triple camera setup on the back. It uses a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens (120-degree FoV), and a 2MP macro lens.
For selfies and video calling, the Nubia Red Magic 5S comes equipped with an 8MP front camera. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 55W air-cooled fast charging.

The Nubia Red Magic 5S runs Android 10 with Nubia UI (Red Magic OS) on top. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a dedicated connector for the Ice Dock. It measures 168.56 x 78 x 9.75mm and weighs 220 grams. There are also IC shoulder buttons for better gaming experiences.
The 6.65-inch AMOLED display comes with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels), 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch response rate, TUV Rheinland certification, and up to 4,096 levels of automatic brightness adjustment setting.
Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Additionally, the company has added an upgraded cooling system called ICE 4.0. It is backed by a centrifugal fan with a speed of up to 15,000rpm.
The proprietary system uses a combination of thermal and air cooling to reduce heat generation. The centrifugal fan is paired with a silver-plated heat sink. There is an L-shaped liquid cooling tube.
