Nokia Lumia 920 And 820 Launched- Price, Features and Details

Nokia India has finally launched their flagship Windows Phone 8, the Nokia Lumia 920 and lower spec version Lumia 820 in India on 10th of January 2013 in New Delhi India. These phone comes packed with high performance processor, high quality large display and the features of latest Windows Phone 8 OS which makes it one of the most advanced smartphones in the segment. They competes with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S3, Apple iPhone 5 etc.

Nokia Lumia 920 has been lunched at price of Rs. 38,199 and Lumia 820 is launched at Rs. 27,599 in India which is the official price list. The phones are already on sale on leading e-commerce portals in India and will be available in stores soon. The online stores have listed the price of Rs. 37,000 for Lumia 920 and Rs. 27,000 for Lumia 820. The Lumia 620 will reach stores in February and the prices will be announced later.

Lumia 920 Specifications, Video Review and Features

The display size on the 4.5 inches and has a resolution of 1280×768 with a 16 million colours touchscreen. It has a 1.5 GHz dual core processor by Qualcomm and a GPU which is Adreno 225 and has 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 8 Megapixel autofocus pureview camera from Nokia which can shoot pictures in low light and also has optical image stabilization feature. It has a non-removable battery of 2000 mAh which is capable of delivering up to 17 hours of talk time on 2G networks and 10 hours on 3G network. It has 32 GB Internal memory on-board.

It can shoot full HD videos at 30 Frames per seconds and has dual LED flash for photographing dark spaces. There is also a front facing camera which is also HD capable for video. The weight of the phone is around 185 grams and is about 11 mm thick. It has support for 2G, 3G as well as 4G or LTE networks. The SIM card used in the phone is a Micro-SIM which is the size used in iPhone 4/4S or Galaxy Note 2.

It also has the same 1.5 GHz dual core processor by Qualcomm and a GPU Adreno 225 and has 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 8 Megapixel autofocus pureview camera from Nokia which can shoot pictures in low light. It has a removable battery of 1650 mAh which is capable of delivering up to 14 hours of talk time on 2G networks and 8 hours on 3G network. It has 32 GB Internal memory on-board.

How Is Lumia 920 Different From Lumia 820 – Video

It has the similar camera configuration for the rear camera but it does not have optical image stabilization like the 920 and does not have HD recording on the front camera. Feature wise, its very close to the 920, but the size, display resolution, front camera, internal memory and OIS features are some key points which differentiate the two phones.

Lumia 620 Specifications and Features

The display size on the 3.8 inches and has a resolution of 480×800 with a 16 million colours touchscreen. It also has the same 1.0 GHz dual core processor by Qualcomm and a GPU Adreno 305 and has 512 MB of RAM. It comes with an 5 Megapixel touc-to-focus camera from Nokia. It has a removable battery of 1300 mAh which is capable of delivering up to 14 hours of talk time on 2G networks and 9 hours on 3G network. It has 8 GB Internal memory on-board.

Nokia Lumia 920 comes with Airtel 2GB 3G package for first three month while the Lumia 820 will come with Vodafone’s 2GB 3G data valid for 3 months. The wireless charging accessories will also be available in the stores very soon.
