HMD Global is all set to launch its much-anticipated Nokia 9 PureView smartphone. Several details of the upcoming handset have already surfaced online. The Nokia 9 PureView is expected to arrive at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Spain, Barcelona. HMD Global is hosting an event on February 24 where it is expected to unveil its new smartphones.
As of now, there is no information about the Indian launch date or price. However, it is tipped to be priced between 749 Euros (approx Rs 59,900) – 799 Euros (approx Rs 63,900) in the European European market.

The upcoming handset will feature a 6.0-inch 3D glass OLED edge-to-edge PureView display with Quad HD resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels), 18:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10 support. It will feature a metal frame and glass back design. Instead of a display notch, the front camera and other sensors are placed inside thick bottom and top bezels. The device sports thin side bezels.
For photography, the Nokia 9 PureView will sport a Penta camera set up at the back (ZEISS optics). It is said to capture 10 times more light than other smartphones, thanks to a new technology developed by Light (takes five photos at the same time to offer 64MP output). The camera setup will come with two 12-megapixel cameras, two 16-megapixel cameras and an 8-megapixel camera. This includes telephoto, wide-angle and depth-sensing lenses.
The upcoming handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor along with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (expandable via micro SD card). Additional features will include an in-display fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, Qi wireless charging feature (18W), Android 9 Pie OS (as part of the Android One program), IP68 rating (water-resistant), and Nokia OZO Audio.
