The new handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G (7nm) processor along with Adreno 620 GPU and 6GB/ 8GB LPDDR4X RAM.
The 64GB/ 128GB internal can be further expanded via a Micro SD card. The 4,500mAh battery comes with 18W fast charging.
Cameras
On the back, the Nokia 8.3 5G sports a quad-camera set up with ZEISS Optics. It combines a 64MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Camera features include dual-LED flash, Video HDR and 4K Ultra HD support, action camera mode, and ZEISS cinematic effects.
For selfies and video calling, the mid-range smartphone sports a 24-megapixel front camera. It is placed in a display hole.

The Nokia 8.3 5G runs the Android 10 operating system (part of the Android One program). It comes with ZEISS Cinema capture and editor.
Connectivity options include 5G (SA/ NSA), Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, FM radio, USB Type-C, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.81-inch LCD PureDisplay with FHD+ (1080 × 2400 pixels) resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of dimensions, the Nokia 8.3 5G measures 171.90 x 78.56 x 8.99mm and weighs 220g. It comes in a Polar Night color option.
Additionally, the new handset comes with OZO audio. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the side (within the power button).
