The company has also added its Dual-Sight technology. The ‘Bothie’ feature is quite popular among Nokia users. The Nokia 6 (2018) is priced in China at 1499 yuan (approx Rs 14,655) for the 32GB internal storage variant. A 64GB storage variant comes with a price tag of 1699 yuan (approx Rs 16,610). The new handset is now available for pre-orders in China. Sales start from January 10. As of now, there is no information about an Indian launch date or price.

The mid-range smartphone sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with full HD (1080p) resolution, 2.5D curved glass, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor along with Adreno 508 GPU and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. The internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB). It is backed by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging support. You can charge the smartphone up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.

In terms of optics, the new smartphone sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus system), 1.0um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, and a dual-tone LED flash. The 8-megapixel front camera comes with a 1.12-pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, and 84-degree wide-angle lens. The company’s proprietary Dual-Sight technology that uses both front and rear cameras to create a split screen.

The Nokia 6 (2018) runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The company promises an upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo). Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, FM radio, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The new handset sports a metal unibody design with 6000 series aluminum chassis (manufactured via two-color anodization process and diamond cutting technology). It measures 148.8×75.8×8.6mm and weighs 172 grams. While the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back, the capacitive touch buttons are replaced with on-screen buttons. The dual-SIM smartphone comes in Black and Silver color options.
